Obtaining non-property certificates in Mexico
Obtaining certificates of non-ownership are documents issued by the Land and Commerce Registry, which indicate whether or not a natural or legal person owns real estate.
This official document is used for various formalities such as obtaining a credit or when a financial institution requires knowing whether a person or company owns any or more properties.
The certificate of ownership or non-ownership allows us to know only whether the natural or moral person owns or does not own properties but does not allow us to know the state that the property holds; for this purpose it is necessary to process the levy certificate.
